Embed a Tickvio timer into any ActiveCampaign campaign or automation email using the HTML content block. No app required. No API setup. Live countdown on every open.

Get Started For Free

ActiveCampaign's email designer includes an HTML content block that accepts custom code — and that single block is everything Tickvio needs. Paste the embed code into the HTML block, position it in your email layout, and the timer renders as a live animated GIF every time a contact opens the message.

ActiveCampaign users build sophisticated automation sequences — welcome series, abandoned cart recovery, lead scoring triggers, deal-stage emails, and date-based follow-ups. Tickvio timers work in every automation email step, not just one-off campaigns. The timer is placed once in the email template and renders live for every contact who reaches that automation step, regardless of when they entered the workflow.

There's no ActiveCampaign app or integration to install. The timer is an externally hosted image — ActiveCampaign renders it exactly like any other image URL in your email template.

Tickvio works the same way with other email platforms. See how it integrates with Keap, Marketo, Mailchimp, and HubSpot. Ready to get started? Set up your first timer or see a live demo.

How to Add a Tickvio Timer

Create Your Timer in Tickvio

Log in to Tickvio and create a new countdown timer. Set the end date, time, and timezone. Select your timer design — Filled Boxes, Flip Clock, or Pill — and customise colours to match your ActiveCampaign email template.

For automations, decide between a fixed-date timer (same deadline for all contacts) or an evergreen timer (personal countdown from first open). ActiveCampaign automations trigger at different times per contact, so evergreen timers are often the better choice for automated sequences.

Step 1 — Create a countdown timer in the Tickvio dashboard

Add an HTML Block in the ActiveCampaign Email Designer

Open your email in ActiveCampaign's drag-and-drop designer. Drag an HTML block from the content panel into your email layout. Position it above or below the CTA button for maximum impact.

Paste the Tickvio embed code into the HTML block. ActiveCampaign's designer may show a placeholder — this is normal. Send a test email to see the timer rendering live in your real inbox.

Step 2 — Paste Tickvio embed code into ActiveCampaign email editor

Send the Campaign or Activate the Automation

For campaigns, schedule or send to your selected list or segment. For automations, activate the workflow — every contact who enters and receives the email sees a live countdown.

ActiveCampaign's split testing lets you test a timer version against a non-timer version within automations. Create two email paths and compare opens, clicks, and goals directly in the automation report.

Step 3 — Live countdown timer rendering in email inbox

Why This Integration Works

Works Inside ActiveCampaign Automations — Every Trigger Type

Tickvio timers embed in any automation email — whether triggered by tag addition, list subscription, site visit, deal update, form submission, or custom event. The timer renders live for every contact at that step.

No ActiveCampaign App or Integration Required

No marketplace app, no API key, no webhook. The timer is a standard image URL in the HTML content block. ActiveCampaign renders it like any hosted image.

Evergreen Timers Match Per-Contact Automation Timing

ActiveCampaign automations fire at different times for each contact. Tickvio's evergreen timer creates a personal countdown from each contact's first open. No date fields, no conditional content, no custom scripting needed.

Most popular ways to use the timer

Timer Use Cases

Cart Recovery Automation with Urgency Timer

Build an automation triggered by cart abandonment via your e-commerce integration. Add a Tickvio evergreen timer to the recovery email with a 24-hour duration. Each contact sees a personal countdown creating 'cart hold' urgency.

Webinar Registration Deadline Campaign

Send an ActiveCampaign campaign promoting an upcoming webinar with limited spots. Add a Tickvio fixed-date timer counting down to registration cutoff. The timer creates real-time urgency to register before the deadline.
